Acentic and AC Marseille Velodrome unveil Radiant 4: A first for France

Acentic, global leaders in hospitality technology, have installed the first Radiant 4 HSIA solution for France in the new 4-star AC Marseille Velodrome by Marriott. With complete network and wireless infrastructure, guests can enjoy world class connectivity throughout the property.

“Radiant 4 is the new, highly acclaimed, HSIA platform that sets new standards in hospitality Wi-Fi, offering outstanding features and functionality,” said Richard Robinson, Acentic’s Chief Executive. “This innovative installation provides robust high-speed connectivity wherever you are in the AC Marseille Velodrome and sets a precedent for hotel guests’ Wi-Fi expectations across the country. “

Accompanying the hotel’s sleek design and modern décor and reflecting the contemporary architecture of the city, state-of-the-art in-room entertainment systems have been fitted in each of the 126 bedrooms. Heightening the guest experience, rooms are equipped with Samsung HD690 48” TVs along with Panorama NG in conjunction with its Push & Play application. This creates an interactive media hub, enabling guests to view and stream movies seamlessly and deliver favourite music or video content from their own devices to the in-room TV, using Miracast screen sharing and Bluetooth audio playback.

Sports fans will be thrilled with the BeIN Sports channels on the new TVs, not to mention the hotel’s proximity to the Velodrome Stadium, which hosted six matches in this year’s UEFA Euro 2016 championships.

The project also saw the installation of a digital signage solution in the lobby, crucial for the hotel to communicate its key messages to guests and particularly useful for guests visiting the Chanot Congress & Exhibition Centre.

“We are delighted that through our partnership with Acentic we are now able to offer our guests an all-round first-class experience when they visit our hotel,” says Wagih Khoury, owner of AC Marseille Velodrome. We are equipped with cutting-edge technology and are able to offer our guests the same, if not a better, tech experience than they have at home and in the office.  It means that in terms of service we can deliver the very highest levels of hospitality.”

Richard Robinson, Acentic’s Chief Executive commented; “Working with such a unique, exciting and forward thinking hotel is inspiring for everyone involved. We are very proud of the whole Acentic team. Matthieu Pouteau did a fantastic job as the account manager and Sean Blackmore and Chris Bloy worked brilliantly to design, configure and install the converged network for PNG and Radiant 4 to Marriott GPNS standard.  Overall the project’s success hinged on Denis Mongin and Philippe Murris whose planning, installation and project managing was flawless.”
